We're currently looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to grow our Supply Chain team! What you'll do Define the vision and strategies for automation technologies using internal and external requirements, build business cases and provide design solutions to implementation issues Integrate large-scale new automation technology for brownfield retail sites to enhance operational efficiencies, OEE and increase productivity Implement efficiencies and best practices in automation and operations to help speed the delivery and quality of products Grow, influence and manage key high-visibility relationships What you'll bring Expertise in automation design and implementation within a retail or distribution center environment Solid engineering contribution with an excitement for adapting and integrating new automated systems in a retail setting Hands-on engineering experience, adept at sourcing and manipulating data to support your recommendations to leadership Experience adapting automation technology to new established environments for retail distribution or fulfillment applications Ability to communicate technical needs of the situation in order to fully integrate the product, automation and operations, ensuring a sustainable solution Advanced skills in SQL and presentation software to manipulate and present data An understanding of algorithms, processes and technology to recommend and implement next step solutions The above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role.
